Adrian founded Green Tiffin in fall of 2013 in San Francisco, although the idea seed was planted early in his childhood. He grew up in a working class family in Malaysia with parents busy at two full-time jobs – making and preparing nutritious home-cooked meals a challenge. That’s where tasty and healthy meals delivered in tiffin boxes came to save the day. Adrian’s after-school tiffin lunches were always eagerly anticipated, a delightful surprise of a meal waiting to be uncovered.
Inspired also by his travels in India which encouraged his becoming vegetarian, Adrian had the vision for Green Tiffin: a sustainable food company delivering lunches in eco-friendly reusable tiffins on electric bicycles through the streets of San Francisco. At its core is the simple idea that sustainable food is the way forward for a healthier you and a healthier planet.
